Naveed Siddiqi

Naveed Siddiqi, currently serving as a Senior Partner at Novo Ventures, is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, and private equity advisory, primarily in the life sciences sector.

Prior to his role at Novo Ventures, Naveed was a Partner at Andera Partners, focusing on investments and financing of innovation-led biotechnology and medtech companies.

Naveed has an extensive background in managing investments, having been involved in over $1.5 billion of life science equity and debt financings across Europe, the US, and Japan.

As a Board director on several Boards in the US and Europe, Naveed has contributed to companies such as Avalyn Pharma, Sanifit, Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Amolyt Pharma, VectivBio, F2G, and Reviral. He also represents Novo Holdings on the Advisory Committee of Biogeneration Ventures.

Naveed's academic qualifications include degrees in Medicine from Guy's & St Thomas's Hospital Medical School, London, and Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England & Wales. He also holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Apart from his professional commitments, Naveed serves as an Advisory Board Member to the Ophthalmology Futures Forum and has been a guest lecturer at University College Medical School, London, and Paris Descartes University. He is a regular chair and panelist at Life Science Conferences.

Throughout his career, Naveed has exhibited expertise in life science investments, strategic financial advisory, and corporate governance, making significant contributions to the organizations he has been associated with.
