Karin Klein is a highly accomplished venture capitalist with extensive experience in the tech industry. As a founding partner at Bloomberg Beta, she invests in early-stage tech companies that help businesses work better. Karin has been recognized as a top VC by numerous publications including TechWeek 100, Silicon Alley 100, and New York Business Journal's "Women of Influence." Her leadership on the east coast has resulted in over 200 investments made by Bloomberg Beta. Prior to launching Bloomberg Beta, Karin led new initiatives for Bloomberg LP, where she built new businesses, developed strategy, and created partnerships.

Before joining Bloomberg, Karin led Softbank's team that reviewed all new investments and played a pivotal role in the success of companies such as BuzzFeed, Buddy Media, The Huffington Post, and Associated Content. Before Softbank, Karin worked with the MC Group and Knowledge Universe investment funds. Karin's passion for building businesses started when she co-founded an educational training company for children. She continues to help build the NYC tech community and serves as a mentor to TechStars, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and as an advisor to founders and high-growth businesses.

Karin graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an MBA and BS from the Wharton School and a BA from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. She has also served on several notable boards, including Regency Centers, Paramount Group, Harvey Mudd College, TechCrunch’s Crunchies, and L'Oreal's Women in Digital.
