Alexa von Tobel is a successful entrepreneur, author, and venture capitalist. She is currently the Managing Partner of Inspired Capital, a venture capital firm that she founded in 2019. Alexa has a diverse educational background, having obtained her AB in Psychology Honors and Romance Languages and Literature from Harvard University, and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Before starting her venture capital career, Alexa founded LearnVest, an online financial planning service that was later acquired by Northwestern Mutual. She held several senior leadership positions at Northwestern Mutual, including Chief Digital Officer and Chief Innovation Officer. Alexa is a certified financial planner and an advocate for personal finance education. She has written a New York Times bestselling book called "Financially Fearless" and hosts a weekly radio show on SiriusXM called "Financially Fearless with Alexa von Tobel," where she shares financial advice and interviews guests with expertise in personal finance.

Alexa has been featured in several publications and media outlets and has received numerous awards and recognitions. She has been included in Forbes Top 30 Under 30, named as one of Fortune's Most Powerful Women, and was listed as one of "18 Women Changing the World" by Marie Claire. She is also an inaugural member of the Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship for the White House and a member of the 2016 Class of Henry Crown Fellows.
