Laura Shen

Laura Shen is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various leadership roles.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a B.A. in Political Economy and African Studies from Georgetown University, and has also studied at McGill University and Phillips Exeter Academy.

Laura currently serves as the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at WEX, where she leads initiatives to foster a culture of diversity and equity within the organization.

Prior to her current role, she held positions as the Director of Strategy, Manager of Strategy, and Senior Consultant at WEX, showcasing her strategic acumen and leadership skills.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Special Assistant to the Director General at IUCN, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Vice President for the Middle East & North Africa Region at The World Bank, and Analyst in Export & Agency Finance at Citi.

Laura's expertise spans across various industries, from consulting and finance to environmental conservation and marine science, where she served as the Head Marine Science Instructor at Briarwood Marine Science & Sailing Camp.
