Information Services & Technology (IS&T) Champion

iPhone & iOS as a journey within the Apple Store is a vital piece to the Apple experience. 

I quickly learned and became an integral piece to the puzzle of iOS within one of the busier locations within Canada; as I developed competencies which were required in this field I learned about myself my attention to detail and care of customer experience.

I have been an integral part of several large iOS device launches including iPhones and iPads; I have been a part of the training, preparation and execution of those launch times with large teams. 

Within Toronto store I aided in the preparation and training of a team over 200+ employees. The execution and planning took competences such as motivating others; leadership essentials; thinking on my feet; dealing with ambiguity; boss relations; managerial courage; training and development. 

My skills came to fruition and I took a larger role in the leadership of my second store in Halifax NS. I aided in training of the entire team in a presentation format to a conference room, and follow up in smaller groups which totalled just under 100 employees. 

Creating experiences and relationships with the Carrier Representatives in my new area and creating a working relationship with our store team was a joy and we have now a close partnership. 

I currently work closely with leadership teams and my peers in order to offer opportunities to colleagues and extending my reach in the hopes that future product and service releases happen as see less as they have up until now.

Creating a comfortable spot for patrons was of highest importance. We had weekly musical events which I was a large part of promoting, organizing and executing performances. We began a weekly recurring 'Reggae music' night in which a local band built an amazing and popular following. 

The Band Dubb Antenna began as cult following and became a destination for mid week entertainment. 

Being Manager and Main Bartender, I took over and completed all duties; including daily duties for upkeep, ordering and accounting for all stock and supplies, all monetary accounting and reporting of books to ownership, and hiring training and accounting of seasonal staff. 

Some of the closest friends and business partners for future endeavours were built at this small and effective Craft Brewed Ale Bar.
