Catherine Meyers
Catherine Meyers is a multifaceted artist and educator with extensive experience in both the arts and social services. With a BFA from Mount Allison University and additional studies at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design and the Mime School Unlimited, Meyers has worked as an artist, youth care worker, parent counselor, and equestrian coach. She has also studied welding, photography, and tarot. Meyers' artistic practice is centered around archetypal, symbolic imagery inspired by myth, story, and legend. She aims to help individuals tap into their personal creative insight while reconnecting to the creative feminine. In her work with youth at risk, Meyers is committed to empowering young people to reclaim basic needs related to belonging, mastery, independence, and generosity.
