Curt Storlazzi

Curt Storlazzi is a research geologist with a keen interest in coastal and marine environments. His research focuses on hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and geomorphology, covering topics such as coral reef morphology, coastal hazards reduction, and extreme storm events. Curt holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Coastal Geology and Oceanography from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Delaware. He is currently associated with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as a Research Geologist, with prior experience as a Post-doctoral researcher at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
