Craig Friderichs, a versatile medical doctor, tech entrepreneur, and passionate mobile technology enthusiast has built an impressive career that spans the clinical, business, global development, and policy environments. His diverse portfolio of experience includes serving as a director, investor, partner, venture builder, research analyst, and head of health in several global organizations. Craig's non-executive roles focus on technology and social impact. He invests in innovative technologies and builds ventures across the fields of medicine, business, and information technology.
Craig's educational journey began with a Secondary School pass in Economics from Michaelhouse. He later enrolled at the University of Stellenbosch, where he pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), and at the University of Cape Town, where he obtained an MBA in Business.
Craig has held various non-executive roles in global companies. He is a partner at Cinch, a former Director at A to Z of Medicines, and a former Partner at Q-Enhance Labs, an innovative health technology accelerator. Craig is also a former Investor and Venture builder at Mobikele, a former Director at PATH, and a former Research Analyst at MD2M.
In his previous roles, Craig served as the Head of Health at GSM Association, where he promoted telemedicine services across the world through mobile devices. He was also the Formerly Special Projects Director at Naspers Limited, where he pioneered the world's first Telemedicine project that aimed to provide affordable health services in the rural parts of South Africa.
