Adam Bendell is the Chief Executive Officer of Toniic, a global action community focused on impact investing. He has held this position since March 2016, leading efforts to provide family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and foundations with resources and opportunities to enhance their impact investing practices. Under his leadership, Toniic has grown to include members from over 25 countries, promoting education and community engagement in the impact investing sector.13
Before joining Toniic, Bendell served as the Chief Innovation Officer at FTI Consulting, where he was responsible for an intrapreneurship program that focused on new product commercialization and corporate social responsibility. He has also held various leadership roles at FTI Consulting, including Senior Vice President of Strategic Development and Senior Managing Director, where he advised corporations on technology consulting and electronic discovery.123
Bendell co-founded Strategic Discovery, Inc., an electronic discovery consulting firm, and served as its CEO until its acquisition by FTI Consulting. His early career includes a significant tenure at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was the Chief Technology Counsel and chaired the Technology Committee.134
He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University, with additional studies at the London School of Economics.13 Beyond his professional endeavors, Bendell is an active impact investor and philanthropist, engaging in various initiatives aimed at social and environmental change.34
