Craig Brown

Dr. Craig Brown is a distinguished marine ecologist with a background in Zoology and Marine Ecology. He holds a PhD in Marine Ecology from the University of Portsmouth and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Reading.

Currently, Dr. Brown serves as an Associate Professor at Dalhousie University, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise in the field of marine science. He has held various notable positions in prestigious institutions and organizations, including being the NSERC Industrial Research Chair for Integrated Ocean Mapping Technologies at NSCC.

Dr. Brown has a wealth of experience in the field of marine science, having served as the Chief Scientist at McGregor GeoScience Limited, Research Scientist at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Ulster. His career has also seen him contribute significantly to organizations such as the Scottish Association for Marine Science and CEFAS, where he held positions as a Research Scientist and Higher Scientific Officer, respectively.
