Craig Bateman

Craig Bateman is a skilled political researcher with a background in political and social research, administration, public affairs, and communications, including social media.

Currently, he works for a Member of Parliament in the West Midlands, providing secretarial and research-based support as part of the core office team.

His experience includes being part of the MP's rapid response team during Covid-19 and interning with Mark Garnier, the MP for Wyre Forest since 2010.

Craig volunteered on Mark Garnier's December 2019 General Election Campaign, which resulted in the MP being returned with a historic majority of 21,413 votes.

He graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Distinction in MSc International Social and Public Policy, specializing in the study of NGOs.

At LSE, Craig received the Titmuss Prize for Best Overall Performance and the Titmuss Prize for Outstanding Performance.

He also holds a first-class, joint-honours BA degree in Philosophy and Politics from Durham University, with previous experience in local government and public administration.
