Courtney Thurston-Del Buono 💻

Seattle-based software engineer Courtney Thurston-Del Buono is a gifted young woman with a passion for both art and science. Having studied a double major in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, she also spent time working at SpaceX, Carnegie Mellon University, and Northrop Grumman. Courtney has an impressive track record of academic and professional achievements, including winning some of the nation's most prestigious scholarships and grants, and was even the first person to create a Wikipedia article on Simone Biles. Outside of her work at Microsoft, Courtney volunteers her time to help underserved students achieve their goals in the areas of standardized testing, college admissions, and career development. Her love of intersectional equity in the arts and sciences is also deeply ingrained in her work and personal life.
