    Cory Janssen, a co-founder of Investopedia.com in 1999, played a significant role in its growth to become one of the largest financial education websites on the web. In 2007, the company was successfully acquired by Forbes Media.

    Post his tenure at Investopedia, Cory Janssen founded Galt Capital, a private investment firm focusing on value investments, and Janalta Interactive, an online publisher of educational websites across multiple industries.

    Cory's educational background includes a Bachelor's in Commerce from the University of Alberta and studies in Social Services at the University of the Fraser Valley.
