Colleen Keating-Crawford is a dedicated professional based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She holds the position of Senior Managing Director and Chief of Staff of the Systems Learning Lab's Reinvention Unit at Teach For America.
In addition to her role at Teach For America, Colleen is the CEO and President of I Am Global Academy, a non-profit organization focused on empowering and educating survivors of social oppression.
With a background in human-centric work, Colleen has been actively involved with Teach For America since 2010, initially managing hiring for the organization's Executive Directors.
Colleen's passion for education and empowerment stems from her experience as a Teach For America teacher corps member in the Bay Area, where she taught middle school Humanities and English as a Second Language.
She holds a Masters in Teaching and remains committed to driving positive change at individual, collective, and systemic levels.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Colleen enjoys a diverse range of activities including parenting, skiing, hiking, paddling, cycling, camping, cooking, antiquing, art creation, and historic home renovation.
She is deeply engaged in discussions on social justice issues and is actively involved in managing a 75+ person volunteer team as part of her work with I Am Global Academy.
