Clarissa Murra

Clarissa Murra is a writer and artist with a strong background in tech startups and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago. During her time at the university, she was actively involved in various organizations that promoted diversity and inclusive communities.

At the University of Chicago, Clarissa served as a board member of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and contributed to the creation of diverse and inclusive communities through different initiatives. She also worked as an associate for Smart Women Securities, focusing on teaching financial analysis and investment skills to women. Additionally, she participated in Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a career preparation program for high-achieving Hispanic and African American students.

Clarissa Murra has received several awards and recognitions for her achievements, including Top 50 Pitches in National Big Sell Entrepreneurship Competition, Future Founders U.Pitch Semi-Finalist, 2nd place at the National Undergraduate Venture Capital Investment Competition, Top 20 in Intercollegiate Phoenix Pitch Competition, National Merit Hispanic Scholar, National Merit Commended Scholar, University of Chicago Scholar, National Hispanic Institute Fellow, Management Leadership for Tomorrow Fellow, Dean's List 2012-2014, Jeff Metcalf Scholar, and Alumni Board of Governors Scholar.

In terms of education, Clarissa studied Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy with a Gender Studies Concentration and a minor in Human Rights at the University of Chicago. She also has experience in a variety of roles in organizations like HelloFresh, LinkedIn, K-Health, and Constellation, focusing on creative writing, product development, analytics, marketing, and growth.
