Claire Haliburton

Claire Haliburton is a Queen's Commerce alumna with a diverse background in high-tech, marketing, strategic human resources, and organizational behavior. She is currently expanding her knowledge by pursuing a second degree in Psychology. Her personal interests range from intersectional feminism, psychology, law and social justice to climate change activism, travel, and indie music.

In terms of education, Claire completed her Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Organizational Behavior Studies at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has studied at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Furthermore, she earned a Nova Scotia High School Diploma with a specialization in mathematics and sciences from Shelburne Regional High School.

Claire has gained valuable professional experience through various roles. She worked as a Rotational Associate at Trend Micro, served as a Teaching Assistant at Smith School of Business at Queen's University, and held positions such as Summer Business Intern and Co-Chair at Q+ at Queen's University. Additionally, she has been involved in multiple leadership roles, including Executive Director of Logistics at Queen's Commerce Law Association (QCLA) and Finance and Logistics Director at Q+ at Queen's University.

In her earlier professional endeavors, Claire also served as the Business and Operations Manager at Shelburne Sailing School Association, Summer Assistant at Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club and Marina, and Photography Manager at Queen's Commerce Society. Her experience extends to event management, as shown by her roles as Case Competition Director at Queen's Commerce Law Association (QCLA), Delegate Coordinator at Queen's Healthcare & Business Conference, and Provincial Conference Co-Chair at Nova Scotia Secondary School Students' Association (NSSSA). Furthermore, she held the position of South West Region Co-Premier at NSSSA.
