As a project manager, I lead a team of consultants in delivering enterprise solutions to clients in a myriad of industry sectors such as manufacturers in food, chemicals, electronics, plastics, machinery & equipment; and wholesale suppliers & distributors.

These range from solution-based, client-focused trainings to useful add-on programmes in automation and integration, to full-scale ERP software implementations for both local and international entities.

Currently, I engage with clients’ executives and end-users on a pre- and post-sales basis, applying active listening and technical skills to provide solutions that are consistent with Cosmo Synergy’s “Customer Care” core value.

Planned and executed prolific events and promotions for Marina Bay Sands - resort-wide and for the casino, during my time there. These include tournaments, lucky draws and scratch card promotions in the casino, as well as resort-wide events for Sands Rewards Club members and VIPs such as gala dinners, concerts and giveaways in conjunction with important local or international events/festivals.

I worked closely with my Sands team members from both within my department and others such as advertising & creative services, corporate communications, operations, procurement, MICE and marketing analytics, to see an event through from start to end. Externally, I coordinated with suppliers on various aspects of the event/promotion, and also prepared the relevant documents for compliance submission to Singapore’s governing authority on gaming – Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA).

As the officer-in-charge of each event/promotion, I monitored event participation rates, among other things, and prepared daily reports containing data to be used in post-event analysis. Event objectives were consistently achieved while generating target-exceeding revenue.

Through my interactions with resort/casino patrons, business partners and fellow team members at MBS, I had the opportunity to hone my soft skills such as teamwork and collaboration, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution and problem solving. Also, working at a luxury destination like MBS meant not only being highly adaptable due to the complexities of the organisation and consumer demographics, but the nature of the job in events and promotions demanded I perform under immense pressure and manage resources effectively.
