Chuck Cogburn is an experienced Operations/Policy Analyst who has been involved in Fusion Center operations since August 2015.
From June 2007 to August 2015, he served as the Director of the Oregon TITAN Fusion Center, overseeing multiple programs, managing budgets, and leading a team of up to 22 members from various agencies.
Prior to this role, Chuck was a Lead Intelligence Analyst at the Criminal Intelligence Division of the Oregon Dept of Justice from May 2004 to June 2007, where he supported investigations into terrorism and criminal activities.
In the period between June 2002 and May 2004, he worked as a Lead Intelligence Analyst for the Oregon Criminal Intelligence Unit and Oregon HIDTA, providing oversight to analysts and investigatory support for criminal and drug investigations.
Before that, he served as a Senior Intelligence Analyst at Sytex Corp in Washington DC, supervising analysts within the US Army INSCOM and supporting investigations related to narco-terrorism post 9/11.
Chuck Cogburn's primary focus throughout his career has been on identifying, disrupting, and deterring terrorism and criminal activities, demonstrating a strong commitment to national security.
Currently, he holds a key position as an Operations/Policy Analyst, providing essential analytical support and conducting risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments to further the mission of Fusion Centers.
His extensive experience in intelligence analysis, program management, and supervision equips him with a well-rounded skill set in the field of national security and criminal investigations.
