Christopher Cretel serves as an Advisor at Privateer Space, a role he has held since February 2022. He is also the Lead Propulsion Engineer at Phase Four, where he leads the development of propulsion technologies aimed at enhancing in-space infrastructure through innovative electric propulsion systems. His responsibilities include overseeing the core technology of the company’s radio frequency thruster and advancing their precision propulsion test capabilities, which are crucial for rapid prototyping of new systems.15
Cretel has a solid academic background, currently pursuing a PhD in Astronautical Engineering at Oregon State University. His expertise encompasses areas such as plasma physics, gas dynamics, spacecraft design, and simulation modeling, making him a valuable asset to both Privateer Space and Phase Four.34
