Christina Okoye

Christina Okoye is a dedicated American Studies scholar specializing in Sociology and Women's Studies, with a keen interest in student development and holistic growth.

With a background in Political Science and Africana Studies, Christina holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Lehigh University, with a concentration in Sociology and a Women's Studies Certificate.

Christina has held various roles in higher education institutions, including Assistant Director for Student Recruitment Selection and Programming at Rider University, and positions at Humboldt State University such as Student Retention Specialist, Interim Coordinator for the African American Center for Academic Excellence, Area Resident Life Coordinator, Resident Life Coordinator for Programming and Leadership, among others.

Her passion lies in contributing significantly to the sustainable development of well-adjusted individuals, focusing on empowering adults to be more confident and aware of their capabilities, both in educational settings and the workplace, particularly in Recruitment, Selection, Placement, and Onboarding processes.
