Chris Ouellette
Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at BNP Paribas Asset Management
Chris Ouellette is the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM), a position he has held since April 1, 2019. In this role, he is responsible for integrating sustainability into the core culture of BNPP AM and implementing Group-wide CSR policies. He reports directly to Jane Ambachtsheer, the Global Head of Sustainability at the firm.12
Before joining BNP Paribas, Ouellette served as the Head of Global Corporate Citizenship at Manulife Financial Corporation, where he oversaw the company's sustainability strategy, environmental risk management, and stakeholder engagement. He also held various sustainability roles at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), contributing to the integration of sustainability across RBC's business units.1
Ouellette holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and a Master of Environmental Studies from York University in Toronto. He is also accredited with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the US Green Building Council.1 His extensive experience in developing and implementing CSR policies within global financial organizations is seen as crucial for advancing BNPP AM's commitment to sustainability.1
