Chris Millar is a seasoned environmental and sustainability leader with over fifteen years of experience in delivering and managing Assessment of Environmental Effects reports for infrastructure projects. He specializes in establishing solid relationships and systems within complex alliance teams that ensure environmental objectives are consistently met while prioritizing the principles of continuous learning in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Millar is an expert in interpreting regulatory legislation for infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across environmental and engineering disciplines. He has also coordinated and prepared bids and is a leader of the Greenroads sustainability rating tool in NZ. Millar is experienced in CSVue permitting management system interpretation and tracking, reporting of UNSDGs, and is a recognized industry leader in the sustainable running of large infrastructure. He is currently a work group manager of environmental services at W S P Opus, having previously worked as the environmental manager at Opus International Consultants Limited.
