Chris Ince

Chris Ince is the University Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer at the University of Hull, a position he has held since early 2021. In this role, he oversees the governance of the university and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. His responsibilities include strategic leadership in areas such as governance, health and safety, information compliance, academic services, and the university library.134

Before joining the University of Hull, Chris worked in governance roles across four London institutions, including serving as University Secretary and Registrar at London Metropolitan University. He has also been actively involved in professional development organizations, having served as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Treasurer of the AUA (now AHEP) until mid-2023. He remains a member of the AHUA Development Group, reflecting his commitment to staff development and higher education governance.123
