Chris Huntington is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in renewable energy, strategic business development, media, and finance.

Currently serving as a Partner and Managing Director for Business Development at Encap Development LLC, Chris plays a key role in driving growth and fostering relationships within the renewable energy sector, focusing on distributed generation and energy efficiency solutions.

Furthermore, in his capacity as the Vice President for global business development at EnVinta Corp., an affiliate of Encap, he leads efforts to provide strategic energy and environmental management tools to a wide array of clients including utilities, commercial entities, government, and institutional players.

Before his tenure at Encap and EnVinta, Chris co-founded New Energy Fund (NEF) Advisors, where he provided strategic guidance to early and mid-stage renewable energy and clean technology companies, aiding them in marketing, raising capital, and identifying commercial opportunities.

Chris' entrepreneurial spirit led him to be one of the co-founders of SkyFuel, Inc., a trailblazer in designing utility-scale concentrating solar power technology, underscoring his significant contributions to the renewable energy space.

Prior to his ventures in the energy sector, Chris enjoyed a successful career with CNN for almost twenty years, serving as a Reporter and Producer specializing in global energy trends, capital markets, and financial crime, thus bringing a wealth of media and communication expertise to his current roles.

Apart from his professional achievements, Chris also boasts an athletic background, having represented the U.S. Olympic Rowing team in two Olympic Games.

Chris' academic journey includes studies at Collegiate School, Milton Academy, earning a BA in Pre Law (Rhetoric) from the University of California, Berkeley, and pursuing Special Diplomas in Social Studies (PPE) and Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford.
