Chris Hammel

Chris Hammel is a highly qualified professional with a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics. He pursued his Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering/Robotics/Decision Theory, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, at The University of Texas at Austin.

Chris Hammel has gained extensive experience in the field through his roles in several reputable organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at The Boring Company, he previously held positions such as Senior PLC Engineer, Software Engineer, and Automation Engineer at the same company. Prior to his tenure at The Boring Company, Chris Hammel worked as a Project Engineer at Union Pacific Railroad and also served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Laboratory Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin.
