Ian Kennedy

Ian Kennedy is a Principal Robotics Engineer at Grain Weevil, specializing in designing and creating cutting-edge robotic solutions for the agriculture sector. With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering focused on Robotics and Control, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.

Ian Kennedy pursued his education at Northwestern University, where he studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the Master's level. He also holds Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (BA) from Dartmouth College.

Prior to his current position, Ian held various roles that shaped his career, including Principal Robotics Software Engineer at Grain Weevil, Robotics Engineer at DEKA Research & Development, and Lead Robotics Engineer Intern at Precision Zone, Inc. He also gained experience as an Engineer at Draper and as a System Engineer at Norwich Solar Technologies.

Ian Kennedy's background includes impactful stints as a Research Assistant at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and as an Intern at UNAIDS.
