Chris Curtis is a prominent advocate for head and neck cancer patients and survivors. He is the founder and former chairman of The Swallows Head & Neck Cancer Support Group, a UK-based charity.12 In 2020, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization.2
Chris's journey as a patient advocate began after his own diagnosis with throat cancer on May 13, 2011.1 He underwent extensive treatment, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and two neck dissections.12 During his recovery, Chris recognized the need for continuous support for cancer patients, which led him to establish The Swallows in 2012.2
