Chris Curry
President at Mobile Airport Authority
Thomas "Chris" Curry serves as the President of the Mobile Airport Authority (MAA).12 He was initially hired as the Executive Director of MAA in October 2017 and was later promoted to the position of President in September 2018.1
Background and Experience
Chris Curry has an extensive background in aviation and airport management:
- He began his career in the United States Air Force in 1982 as an air traffic controller, retiring in 2001 after serving as manager of air traffic control radar, tower, and airfield management.12
- Prior to joining MAA, Curry was the Director of Aviation for the City of Tallahassee from December 2013 to September 2014.1
- He has also served as Executive Director of the Collier County Airport Authority, Gary Chicago International Airport, and as Project Manager of Airspace and Procedure Design for Boeing.12
