Mike Karsseboom

Mike Karsseboom brings a wealth of experience in airport management, security, compliance, and operations. With a background that includes roles in both public and private sectors, Mike has honed his skills over the years. Currently serving as the Managing Director at North Peace Regional Airport, his previous positions include Director Airport Security, Compliance and Planning at PortsToronto, General Manager Airport Security, Compliance & Planning at PortsToronto, and General Manager Airport Operations at PortsToronto. Prior to his time at PortsToronto, Mike held various leadership roles at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, including Associate Director Operations and Response, Senior Manager Safety and Security Operations, Manager Runways & Taxiways, and Senior Manager Apron Operations.

Mike also has a strong foundation in aviation, having served as Chief Airport Operations at Bombardier Aerospace. His early career in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Air Traffic Controller and Air Defence Technician provided him with a solid background in operational efficiency and safety protocols.
