Christopher Altchek, a former Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Group Analyst, is best known as the co-founder and former CEO of Mic, a renowned news and media company focused on producing engaging content for Millennials. Altchek's interest in politics and policy work started early in his career. He worked in political organizing for the SEIU and for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s successful re-election campaign in 2009. He also served as a Policy Associate to the National Economic Council at the White House. Altchek's efforts towards content creation targeting specific demographics helped him achieve a spot on Forbes's 30 Under 30 and Crain's 40 Under 40 lists. Altchek studied at Harvard University and was involved in the Institute of Politics during his time there.
