Chris Abbosh

Chris Abbosh is a medical oncologist and a member of the Royal College of Physicians. His primary focus lies in next-generation sequencing research, particularly in utilizing cell-free DNA as non-invasive biomarkers for advancing adjuvant risk stratification and early intervention in solid tumors.

Educationally, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from UCL, a BM in Medicine with honors and distinctions from Southampton University, and an iBsc. in Immunology and Cell Pathology with first-class honors from University College London, U. of London.

Chris has held significant roles in various organizations including a Senior Director position in Translational Medicine at AstraZeneca, Principal Clinical Fellow at AstraZeneca Clinical Fellowship, TRACERx PhD Clinical Fellow at University College London, Academic Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and an Academic Foundation Post at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
