Chong Lim

Chong Tee Lim is the co-founder of WateROAM, a startup focused on designing portable water filtration systems to provide clean water access in disaster relief operations and rural communities.

With a background in environmental engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Chong Tee leverages his scientific knowledge and business skills to drive his social mission forward.

Co-founding WateROAM during his second year at NUS, Chong Tee has been instrumental in the success of the startup, which has positively impacted over 15,000 individuals across countries like Indonesia, Cambodia, Nepal, and Myanmar.

Under Chong Tee's leadership, WateROAM has achieved recognition and awards, including the 2015 Shell LiveWIRE Awards and the Rising Hydropreneur Star Award at the 2014 Singapore International Water Week Hydro Pitch Day.

Beyond WateROAM, Chong Tee and his team are developing the innovative ROAMfilter Plus to cater to larger communities in need of clean water, showcasing their commitment to sustainable solutions.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Chong Tee actively engages in volunteer work and social services, emphasizing the importance of education and grassroots initiatives in combating poverty.
