Taylor Quinn
Advocate for nutritious, affordable, local food initiatives
Taylor Quinn is a Canadian social entrepreneur with expertise in international development, agriculture, and food systems. With a degree in International Development from Dalhousie University, Taylor has spent her career working to build coalitions of entrepreneurs, farmers, manufacturers, and institutions to design and market locally-sourced food products to people living in poverty. Known for her commitment to community development, she has founded several social enterprises, including CompCamp, a technology education-based program that transformed tech learning for kids.
Taylor has also held leadership roles in organizations such as Tailored Food, JUST, and the James R. Johnston Chair in Black Canadian Studies at Dalhousie University. She has spoken at international conferences and represented Canada at an UN-sponsored global entrepreneurship program. Her work has earned accolades, including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, and she has consulted with nonprofits worldwide on community development initiatives. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys exploring new cities on long trail runs.
