China Terrell

China Terrell, a distinguished professional with a diverse background, is an alumna of Johns Hopkins University, a former foster mom, and the Chief Executive Officer at American Communities Trust, Inc.

With over 15 years of experience in the private and public sectors, Ms. Terrell has excelled as a corporate lawyer, business developer, and General Counsel for the District of Columbia's legislative committee on human services.

Under her leadership at ACT, Ms. Terrell has secured funding and successfully completed phases of the Baltimore Pumphouse project, focusing on revitalizing communities and creating urban ecological spaces like Last Mile Park.

A highly educated individual, Ms. Terrell holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
