Chia-Jung (Apple) Chan Fardel

Chia-Jung Fardel is an experienced Front-End Engineer with a background in user interface engineering and design, as well as machine learning. She has a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Dong Hwa University.

Chia-Jung has worked as a Front-End Engineer at DodoLab Studio, Interactive Developer at Guardian News & Media, and Front-End Engineer at Crossing-Tech SA. She's also had research internships at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, CRAFT, and NEC, Computer & Communications Innovation Research Labs (CCIL). Additionally, she worked as a Research Assistant at Academia Sinica, Institution of Information Science (IIS), MMNET Lab.

Her specialties include user interface, data visualization, and analysis. She's interested in applying machine learning to fields such as robojournalism and self-driving cars.
