Cheri Bradish, Ph.D.
Loretta Rogers Research Chair in Sport Marketing
Dr. Cheri L. Bradish is an esteemed sport marketing expert and the Loretta Rogers Research Chair in Sport Marketing at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University.
With over sixteen years of experience at Brock University, she was instrumental in establishing the Bachelor of Sport Management program and held various leadership positions, including Chair.
Her research interests encompass sport business strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, social impact, women in sport leadership, and the management and marketing of the Olympic Games.
Cheri has a rich background in the sport industry, having worked with renowned organizations such as Nike, the Vancouver Grizzlies, and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
She is a celebrated educator, earning accolades like the 2013 Brock University Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching and representing the Canadian Olympic Committee at the International Olympic Academy Session in Greece.
Dr. Bradish holds a Ph.D. in Sport Management from Florida State University, where she also completed her Master of Science, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours from the University of Guelph.
She is actively involved in the CAAWS Board of Directors and is a former varsity athlete in volleyball at the University of Guelph.
