Charleston Sin, with a rich background in the commercial sector spanning 25 years, has transitioned into the realms of Innovation & Technology and Education. Currently, he holds the position of Executive Director at the MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node.
In his educational journey, Charleston pursued a Master of Science in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Doctor of Philosophy in Management Sciences specializing in Technology Management from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science in Operational Research and Manufacturing Systems, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Operational Research from the University of Manitoba.
Throughout his career, Charleston has been associated with prestigious organizations such as digiXnode Technology Ltd., The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, MCommerce Online Limited, Kelly's Education, Orange Technology Co. Ltd., Cyberport Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, holding various positions from Advisor to General Manager.
His tenure at Cisco System saw him in pivotal roles including Managing Director, General Manager, Chief of Staff, and Regional Sales Manager, focusing on diverse areas such as Borderless Networks, Data Center Virtualization, and Service Provider and Enterprise solutions. Prior to this, he served in notable capacities at VMware and Nortel Networks.
With a passion for fostering innovation and harnessing the power of technology, Charleston Sin is set to lead MIT HK Innovation Node towards driving innovation in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay area, shaping the future for the burgeoning generation of innovators and technologists.
