Charles Odom

Charles Odom is a logistics professional with extensive experience in global logistics and supply chain management. He currently serves as the Director of Logistics at Halliburton's corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas.1 In this role, he oversees more than 1 million domestic and 250,000 international logistics movements annually.1

Odom has over 15 years of experience in global logistics sales and operations, including 7 years of field operations in remote locations across Sub-Saharan Africa.1 He began his career in logistics as a driver while pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in 2006.1 Before joining Halliburton in 2013, he worked at companies such as Forward Air, Pilot, and Lynden.1

At Halliburton, Odom manages logistics operations across 85 to 90 countries, overseeing a global hub-and-spoke network with cross-docks in Houston, Rotterdam, Dubai, and Singapore.2 He has been instrumental in implementing data analytics and AI technologies to optimize Halliburton's complex supply chain, resulting in significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.2

Odom has completed executive leadership courses at the Texas A&M Mays Business School and has a strategic focus on customer requirements, compliance, talent development, logistics technology, and nonconventional and offshore project management.1
