Chang Zi Qian

Chang Zi Qian is the Co-Founder and CEO of Intelllex, a Singapore-based legal technology startup established in 2015. Intelllex focuses on developing AI-driven tools for legal practitioners, including intelligent search engines and knowledge management systems designed to streamline legal research and document retrieval. The company's mission is to enhance the efficiency of legal professionals by indexing legal knowledge and providing innovative applications powered by proprietary algorithms.123

Background and Education

Chang Zi Qian holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Singapore Management University, where he graduated in 2011. His early career included a position as a Trainee Advocate and Solicitor at Rajah & Tann LLP, where he specialized in commercial litigation and international arbitration. Following this, he served as the Assistant Head of Innovation & Enterprise at the National Research Foundation, part of the Prime Minister's Office, where he was involved in venture capital investment schemes and startup policy formulation.145

Achievements and Contributions

In addition to his role at Intelllex, Chang has been active in various committees, including the Singapore Committee for Future Economy and the Law & Technology Advisory Council at Singapore Management University. He has been recognized as one of the "100 Leaders of Tomorrow" at the St Gallen Symposium on two occasions and as a "Dragon 100 Young Leader" in Hong Kong.135

Chang's vision for Intelllex stems from his experiences in the legal field, where he identified significant gaps in information management and retrieval. His goal is to leverage technology to transform how legal professionals access and utilize knowledge.34
