Chandra Guinn

Executive Director, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at McKinney

Chandra Guinn is the Executive Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at McKinney, bringing a wealth of experience from higher education and a passion for justice and equity.

With a background in sociology from both Bucknell University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chandra also served as the Director of the Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture at Duke University.

Transitioning to the advertising industry, Chandra is eager to leverage her skills as a dynamic trainer, compelling speaker, Black cultural curator, award-winning educator, motivator, and advisor to make a positive impact.

Outside of her professional roles, Chandra is active in community service, serving on the boards of the Durham Arts Council and the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice.

In her free time, Chandra enjoys cultural outings, educational travel, spending time with loved ones, and pursuing Interior Freedom.
