Chad Zipfel

Chad Zipfel is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. He joined Fisher in 2018 after more than a decade of progressive finance leadership experience in the corporate sector.12 Prior to his academic career, Zipfel led the turnaround of The Oneida Group out of bankruptcy and held various finance roles at L Brands and Procter & Gamble.1
Since 2018, Zipfel has been the active owner of F.A.S.T. Consulting LLC, specializing in Finance and Strategy transformations as a fractional CFO for small/mid-cap companies.13 He also serves on the board of a VC-backed startup and holds multiple board positions in the non-profit sector.1
At Ohio State University, Zipfel is a STEP Faculty Mentor, actively engaged with Fisher's Executive Education as an Academic Director, and serves on various committees.1 He teaches courses such as Corporate Finance, Global Finance, and Finance Honors Seminar.1
Zipfel received his BSBA in Finance with Honors, graduating summa cum laude from Fisher College of Business. He resides in Sunbury, OH with his wife and two boys.1
