Cecilia Cruz

Cecilia Cruz is an experienced environmental engineer with over 13 years of international development project management background. She has worked on projects funded by multiple development donors in a diverse range of geographic contexts, mainly in Latin America and Africa.

Cruz has strong technical and engineering skills in integrated water management, environmental planning, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, and climate change adaptation. She also holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Studies from top universities in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain.

Moreover, Cruz is a social expert with a specific focus on gender mainstreaming and women’s empowerment. She has worked on gender strategies and policies for different donors such as the UE and AFD. Her short-term international experience encompasses dealing with water management, climate change adaptation, and gender issues. She is also experienced in evaluating gender-related projects and programs in climate change.

Cecilia Cruz is fluent in French and English and worked in bilingual environments. She is currently a Gender Expert at Le Groupe-conseil baastel.
