Cassandra Simmons

Cassandra Simmons is a second-year law student at the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she is actively involved in various academic and extracurricular activities. Originally from Austin, Texas, she graduated from Purdue University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in History. Her academic interests include political economy, constitutional law, public interest law, and behavioral economics.12
Professional Experience
Cassandra currently serves as a Staff Editor for the Notre Dame Law Review and is the Executive Editor for the 2024 Symposium Issue of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. During her first year of law school, she completed a judicial internship with Justice John P. Devine at the Supreme Court of Texas. Additionally, she has experience as a Research Associate with The Federalist Society, where she focused on administrative law and federalism.123

Cassandra has been recognized for her academic achievements, including being on the Dean’s List throughout her studies at Purdue University and graduating with distinction in the top 10% of her class.1
Interests
