Cary Simmons is a highly accomplished individual with a rich educational background and extensive experience in environmental and community-related roles.

He holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University, where he gained in-depth knowledge and skills in environmental studies and sustainability.

Additionally, Cary completed a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with Honors, along with a Minor in Studio Art, at the University of Arkansas, showcasing his diverse academic interests and talents.

Cary Simmons currently serves as the Director of Community Strategies at The Trust for Public Land, where he plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to benefit communities through public land initiatives.

Prior to his current position, Cary held the position of Research Fellow - Interdisciplinary Research Leaders at the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, highlighting his expertise in conducting interdisciplinary research and contributing to impactful projects.
