Carrie Conway is an accomplished international development professional with a rich background spanning over 17 years. She specializes in program design, implementation, and management, particularly in post-conflict and transition settings. Carrie boasts a wide array of technical skills, including post-conflict reconstruction, youth empowerment, land and property rights, civil society strengthening, peace-building, livelihoods, natural resource management, and humanitarian aid.

Her track record is marked by her adeptness in establishing and nurturing relationships, forging agreements and alliances with various stakeholders, both local and international. Notably, Carrie has a distinguished role as a senior business development specialist with a focus on leading USAID proposal initiatives. Her extensive experience encompasses various facets of USAID project management such as procurement, contract administration, financial management, work plan development, monitoring and evaluation, and progress reporting.

Carrie's professional journey includes pivotal roles in several high-profile projects: she served as the Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Sudan Transition and Conflict Mitigation Program, the Deputy Chief of Party for USAID's Local Governance and Community Development program in Afghanistan, and as the Senior Program Manager for the USAID Timor-Leste Land Program. She has also lent her expertise as a Program Development Specialist with Oxfam America in the Mekong region.
