Caroline Simmons

Caroline Simmons is a dedicated public servant who currently serves as the State Representative for the 144th District in Stamford, CT.

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Middle East Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, a Bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard University, and studies in Middle East Studies/Arabic at The American University in Cairo.

Caroline's professional journey includes roles such as Senior Specialist for Policy Innovation and Impact at Elevate Policy Lab, Candidate at Caroline Simmons for State Representative, and serving as a State Representative at the Connecticut General Assembly.

She has also contributed her expertise in various capacities at esteemed organizations, including The Women's Business Development Council, the US Department of Homeland Security, the Obama-Biden Transition Team, Obama for America, and the U.S. Department of State's Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
