Appointed as a Lay Fitness to Practise panellist on the Conduct and Competence committee of the Nursing & Midwifery Council. Trained on regulatory law affecting the nursing & midwifery professions. Sat as part of a 3 person panel hearing a variety of cases including interim applications, final hearings and substantive order reviews, gaining a good knowledge of professional regulatory proceedings and a keen overview of the healthcare professions and healthcare provision in the UK.

•	Expert at presenting and summarising cases to both lay (non-solicitor) and professional (solicitor) clients, and before senior professionals such as Judges, and using strong advocacy skills to persuade them both orally and by written Skeleton Arguments, of the merits of cases, winning high proportion of cases presented
•	Project managed a number of complex, high-value, long running pieces of litigation whilst at the Bar, including liaison with other professionals such as accountants and actuaries
