Carlos Diaz

Carlos Diaz is a 47-year-old entrepreneur hailing from France and now living in San Francisco, with over 20 years of experience in founding and growing startups. He first burst onto the tech scene at the age of 23 with Emakina, which he took public in 2006. Diaz went on to create blueKiwi, the nation's first SaaS platform, and sold the company two years after moving its headquarters from France to Silicon Valley. Alongside running a startup accelerator program for four years, he continues to invest through his rolling fund Diaspora Ventures, while also serving as the CEO and co-founder of Uncut.fm. Diaz is also an independent podcaster, most well-known for his podcast Silicon Carne, one of the most listened-to tech podcasts in France with roughly 10,000 downloads per episode. He studied foreign literature and civilization at the Université de Limoges and has a wealth of professional experience and knowledge to impart.
