Carlos de Llarena is an award-winning interaction designer with over two decades of experience in various sectors including telecommunications, advertising, design, fashion, retail, culture, and government. Carlos has a B.A. in Architecture from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a Masters in Professional Studies, Interactive Telecommunications from New York University. He has also served as a teacher of Urban Interaction Design at Parsons School for Design, Consultant and Media Architect at Med44, Atelier Leader at Urban IxD Summer School and Broadcast Designer at NYU TV. Currently, Carlos runs his New York-based interaction design consultancy, where he creates physical/digital experiences that change social interactions and perceptions of space which is known as "Media Architecture."
