Carles Escolano

Carles Escolano is a successful entrepreneur, co-founder of Arboribus, a pioneering fintech startup that enables institutional and retail investors to directly lend money to small and medium-sized companies. With a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Carles is an experienced professional with a solid background in finance and consulting. Before founding Arboribus, he worked as a senior consultant and engineer at Bax & Willems Consulting Venturing, providing strategic advice and support to help organizations grow their businesses. He also volunteered as a research project coordinator at FETS - Observatori Finances Étiques, promoting responsible investment and ethical finance.

With a passion for innovation and sustainability, Carles has been involved in social and environmental projects, travelling throughout Brazil, Peru, and Ecuador to learn about different cultures and help communities improve their living conditions. He is an inspiring leader and a mentor to many young professionals, encouraging them to pursue their dreams, take risks, and learn from their mistakes.
